Process to obtain a copy of a marriage license

The marriage license index lists all people who have applied for a marriage license in Chippewa County. 

Records are open to the public, no ID is required. Records available: 1827 to present.

Fee: The fee for a certified copy is $10.00 for the first copy and $5.00 for each additional copy of the same record. 

 

In order to request a copy online, you need to fill out the Record Request Form and email it to us with the email link provided on the form. Once that has been completed, your payment can be made by clicking on the link below.
